For more than five years, Smartweave has collaborated with leading surgeons, researchers, and domain experts to bring AI-driven 3D design for surgical tools and devices to the operating room through learning and innovation.
That foundation has yielded a suite of high value solutions – including the “Kasim” AI-based platform for 3D design and printing of personalized surgical implants.
Mission
We are transforming women's health. For far too long, the medical establishment has maintained a one-size-fits-all mentality and tolerated problematic implants/devices that simply do not work well for everyone all the time. With one-third of women around the world (>65 yrs. of age) suffering from UI issues -- and no pharmacological treatment whatsoever available to aid them -- surgical implants are their only go-to option, and unfortunately a less than perfect option. We aim to change that, greatly improving such implants along with the procedures associated with effectively and holistically treating these women
